The Shree group while diversifying into the packaging industry in the late 90s also ventured into the manufacture of master batches and thus was setup Blend Colours Pvt. Ltd. The company has received ISO 9001Certification for manufacturing of master batches.

Infrastructure:

The installed capacity for the manufacturing of master batches exceeds 1000 tonnes, which is one of the largest in South India. Master batches are primarily used for providing colours to a plastic product. Blend Colours Pvt. Ltd. follows a strict quality control procedure that includes random testing of the various components of the master batches like the polymers, pigments and additives.

An ever growing demand of polymers for critical end applications calls for enhancement or modification of base polymer characteristics.

We have a state-of-the-art R & D center with processing equipment for blown film, injection moulding etc. The batches are tested on parameters like dispersion, MFI, colour fastness, density, carbon content, opacity, gloss, hardness etc to maintain excellent consistency in the different lots of the batches. The lab is also equipped with a colour spectrophotometer to achieve the exact shade of colour for the demanding customers.
